wow.  that made me laugh out loud.  check out the first line of the description. this kind of thing gives me hope for the world and humanity.  in a roundabout way.  humor, wit — succinct and simultaneously speaking volumes.  i lurve it.

i like all of their valentines.  not that it’s valentines season, exactly.  but i’ve said it before i’ll say it again.  every day is valentines day here at the hogfarm.

it’s almost valentines day.  i really do love valentines day. ¡i love love! that’s my motto.  i just haven’t been able to focus on it much this year.  for whatever reason.  maybe that’s not important, it’ll come whether i’m focused on it or not.

but i love to have the colors of valentines day around, to brighten up the winter landscape.  pinks and reds — gotta mix a little orange in there.  there’s still time!  i need to get on it. cupcakes!  this weekend needs cupcakes.  that’ll get me in the spirit for sure.  with lovely sprinkles and pink frosting and the whole lot.  yey!

i have quite a few heart stones that i was hoping to get all ringed up by now.  there just hasn’t been enough time. a common refrain, it’s true it’s true. but valentines can be celebrated all year round…and should be celebrated whenever the mood moves – so keep an eye out, they’ll be posted soon!  this lovely shinyshiny pictured above and below is on its way to a sweetheart’s hand.  i forgot how much i enjoy this ring.  i oughta make one for myself.  yey valentines!

i forgot about how much i had shared with the journalist. there’s one big error in the story.  we moved here when cv was almost two, not when we were preggers with her.  but i had given her a TON of information all at once.  so you know.  it’s kind of intense reading back through it…god we’ve been through so much since 2004.  so much.  i can’t quite wrap my head around it all.  so many things — sure the bricknmortar and the music venue — and so many things.  it kind of breaks my heart.  in both good and owie ways.  so many mixed emotions…

thinking about things.  yesterday was so heavenly with the snowday and the three of us got to steal a day of play together.  crazy weather is a free pass to just follow one’s nose and not the feel the pressures of doing — even things that are ultimately enjoyable.  it’s a repeating sentiment in my life lately — simplify and eliminate the chatter/clutter.  it’s important. and awesome. and i think i’m getting better at it.  or trying to.  working towards it.

it’s making me want to paint more hearts.  it’s a lovely meditation and release.  not reinventing the wheel and just enjoying color and making spur of the moment decisions, not over analyzing things.  a wandering.
